Sayonara

Our comet was looking a bit under the weather when we got back from Sunderland, perked up after a good feed but then seemed poorly again yesterday. So I did a water change today but it was clear he had a swim bladder problem. We’ve managed to sort that out with previous fish but sadly we won’t get the chance this time as the wee guy has given up the ghost. Just checked my blips and it’s a couple of weeks short of six years since this comet arrived to keep another one company. And now we’re a comet-free zone.
