Lagos Beach

Vanessa was a good girl today and drove us  30 minutes down the road to a vegan café. Mr C  had a cardamom bun. I had a chocolate croissant. Both delicious.

Lunch on Lagos beach: olive focaccia, samosa, and an over stuffed sandwich. Warm, breezy, very tolerable. Had a small beer because we can! 

Went back to the jeweller to collect the necklace that matches yesterday’s bracelet. Used to tell Mr C not to bother with jewellery — wouldn’t wear it when the children were small. Apparently I'm over that now and making up for lost time now, one purchase at a time. She might call if she can make the earrings to match my pendant I got last year. Hope she does.

12k + steps again today and a 2 hour siesta
