First day in Alameda

Last night we arrived in San Francisco after a very long flight! It was freezing, certainly not what is expected of this area!   We dutifully stayed up till nine or ten in the evening, slept and still felt pretty rough today.  I managed to fall headlong in the street today, dragging our poor daughter with me!  Guy in a car stopped ready to run over and help!  So nice of him! 

Both ok!  Then I had a lie down for an hour or so and felt better! 

We went off to lunch in a lovely place.  C’s in the extras.  I had cream cheese with berries: absolutely delicious! Ro some cheesy toast with pesto warmed up also very good! We ate inside but there was a beautiful courtyard with this painted mural and the blue parasols over the tables. 

Today the sun is out and it feels good! 

Later we went off in the car to get bits.  Coffee yogurts for Ro!
