Trenching

This is the trench for the water pipe for the new toilet block near the Milk tea stand at Inverleith Park. While we were having tea the pipe went in. The people working on it expected to put in the sewer pipe too, but there was a problem about the connection level, so that's postponed for now .. 

At the pond there were two circling herons, lots of sleepy mallard, and the two adult swans with one cygnet. Only five tufted ducklings (of the original eight sighted).  We saw one more heron from the Falshaw bridge. 

20C, overcast, much less wind than earlier in the week.
