Bonkers

There's been a few photos of Katie shared by her houseparent in their chat this week. Most of her being pretty bonkers. Good to see her smiling. 

I was really proud of her today. She's not going to be recovered enough to perform in the symphony orchestra concert next week so we talked about her not sitting through all of the full week of extra rehearsals next week. Previously, I would have then had to go and fight her corner. But she decided she was going to do it and took herself to the head of department. Who saw what a big deal it was that she came to him, and that he'd not had to find her and problem solve it. I think she's going to sit in the orchestra for some of it as they've got a great guest conductor coming but not all of it. Girl did good fighting her own corner.
