A day at home

After all my whizzing about. Concentrated on two things - gardening - especially deadheading, and masses of watering. The recent tiny dribbles of rain haven’t even dampened the soil it seems.
And reading- I have at last managed to join a reading group. Or to be more precise the U3a has set up a new one for us people for whom there was no room in the existing ones. First meeting tomorrow - and first book “Small things like these” by Claire Keegan, one of the best things I’ve ever read.
The above are in a pot - easily the loudest colour in my garden. I love it.
