Yaki soba and Okonomiyaki

Out with the Mrs today and came across an old okonomiyaki shop that only opens for a few hours. The menu is simple and super cheap. About ¥330 for an Okonomiyaki with meat and ¥330 for a plate of Yaki soba (hot plate noodles).

Is it Michelin star level? No. Is it nostalgic and straight from the 70s? Yes. And that’s why I like it. An old couple who have got the process to a finely tuned machine. You don’t see places like these outside of Japan.
