I'd forgotten about that stairway. Moira was a flatmate back in Edinburgh Uni days. She's lived in London for years and this was probably our first meetup since the '80s which is ridiculous. I gave them a wee tour of interesting places in the old town and we had  a walk round the Ness Islands. I enjoyed it and I hope they did too.
