Blue . . .
...bell seedheads.
Early start with a coffee and chat meet up.
Went to pick up friend who has just had her 93 rd birthday before heading off to join another few ladies, one of whom celebrated her 79th this year.
We tried a new eatery and were pleasantly impressed with both the staff and the venue. Food was delicious and sensibly there were small portions on offer. The staff kindly gave the birthday girls a tasty tiffin biscuit to celebrate!
Home again and I decided to do another hour's cleaning up in the garden. Chopped down all the dead dying/dried off plants in the cornflower bed and will weed before planting something with colour just for the rest of the season and for the insects to enjoy.
These dried bluebell seed heads were among the detritus to be thrown! Thought they were abstract enough for today's mono challenge.
