123 years Ago Today.

On the 26th June 1902 King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra had their Coronation.
'The inscription on the plate reads - 'These plaques were presented as a memento of the Coronation to the 80,000 Children of the City by Ambrose Edmund Butler JP of Kirststall Forge, Lord Mayor of Leeds'.
I bought the plate at an Antiques Fair many, many years ago - I am sure none of the 80,000 recipients are still alive, but I wonder how many of the 80,000 plates still survive....
