It's Showtime!

Today we headed down to Norwich for a day at the Royal Norfolk Show.  There were lots of events going on including Showjumping, a Shetland Pony Derby, the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, Motorcycle Displays, Pig Racing, Ferret Displays and much, much more.  We wandered around a lot of the Exhibitor's stalls but mainly stuck with the animal side of things.

There was the traditional judging of farm animals; Bulls and Cows, Sheep, Goats etc.  Some magnificent beasts including the one I've used for my main shot.  We went around the tents housing all the sheep and goats, another with rare breed animals and one for small livestock.  I've added a couple of extra collage shots from the day including the first photo I took when I arrived and that I posted on Facebook; a cow being jet-washed clean in preparation for its big moment in the ring and which looked as though it was thoroughly enjoying the experience.

All in all, an excellent day out at a traditional County Show.
