Here be dragons

Pleased to see another dragonfly emerge from our wildlife pond today. First I found the adult Southern Hawker in the grass, its wings still shiny and not yet hardened for flight. Later I spotted the exuvia that it had emerged from just a couple of feet away. And now its zipping around the garden in its new form.
