Thursday: Lavender

Rain when we got up, but we had breakfast and the rain was gone.

Went grocery shopping with a quick detour down the A55 to Gaerwen Industrial Estate where MrD needed to get some “bits for the boiler” which needs some attention …!

When we arrived at Lidl I spotted big purple pots of lovely dark purple lavender, I mentioned to the lady standing next to me that my Mum always said that darker flowered lavender has the best perfume, she said that her Mum used to say the same thing so we both just had to buy this lavender!! :-))

This afternoon I was occupied with a question from a lady via Ancestry who thought we were related, I studied my tree and wrote a list for her … she agreed with my reasoning and was thrilled :-))

MrD cut the grass this afternoon but the wind was ferocious and I think rain forecast for tonight too …
