Milestone reached

While the Queen of Sweden looks on, I’ve been building a frame around the pergola. Today the frame was filled ready for planting. The filling was wood chips from branches I had cut down, turf sods lifted to create the pergola terrace, left over compost from last year and bags of bought top soil. Lots of heavy bags of topsoil. Now I just to fill the inside and put in paving slabs.
