Baking
Another day in the Cotswolds. The workshop today was two fold. We went to Sourdoughrevolution to learn how to make sourdough and the impact that good farming and bread can have on our health. It was absolutely fascinating. Max who owns the bakery is passionate about sustainability and farming and how we can cure a lot of modern ills by restoring our gut health… really interesting.
While he was demonstrating and we were making the bread we talked through the challenges he has with his business. He is a classic owner entrepreneur so there was a lot to talk about.
I think we have sown some good seeds for him to grow his business ( sorry for the puns). I came away with a fine loaf of bread and an ongoing discussion about how we might be able to cure my ibs which will be amazing.
