Bees in poppies

Even with the poppies in a vase the bees were still busy. We were watching them whilst having our cuppa after the Health Walk.
We had some rain in the night, my veg will be happy, and a few showers in the morning but then it brightened up - and it got quite breezy again.
Cafe was steady and at the end I had to see a couple of people to finish the task I'd started yesterday, which didn't take long.
Once all cleared up I did some shopping (only 2 things but 2 different shops) and then came home and sat in the garden for a bit. A family of jackdaws seem to have taken up residence one of the remaining tall trees in a neighbour's garden so it isn't very peaceful out there!
Various odds and ends this evening, trying to get things done before we go away.
