I'm glad I looked out the window before I opened the door to go and do some gardening as the pheasant would have run off.  I left him alone and after half an hour he'd gone so no excuse not to do some gardening!   Walked Tess in the estuary this evening and she met her usual friends.  She ran and ran and in-between running she very kindly rolled in some cow pat!
