The Quays

Ever since grandson George was a baby we have been trusted to look after him by ourselves. It was a great responsibility when he was a small baby but now that he is twelve the duties are different. The family lives more than an hour away, so when we want to collect or deliver him, we meet half way. This happens to be at "The Quays" pub at Frimley which is on the edge of a lake. It makes a good exchange place and today as I collected him I joined d-in-l M and George's half brother for a snack lunch before I brought him home. He will keep me busy for the week - already we have made some biscuits for tomorrow's Mah-jong ladies.
Today the lake was quiet, with just one water-ski boat in action, leaving the ducks and swans in peace.
