The Beatles!

We’ve spent the day going to a Beatles exhibition at the De young museum in San Francisco.  An excellent exhibition that brought Ro and I back years! Ro points to one document and says we met four weeks before this!

There were also many other galleries to visit.  I loved the glass exhibits,  Viola Frey 1933-2004 Man observing series II, 1984. Man must be 7ft tall!

We had a delicious vegetable curry in the restaurant and I left them talking to wander out and see some sculptures one I particularly liked by Jean Miro: la maternité and a couple by Henry Moore.

It took well over an hour to get back through slow moving traffic! Over the Bay Bridge!  All exhausted! 

One of the great things about the day was that we were joined by two of our daughter’s friends, two who paint online with us.  So great to see them in the flesh!
