Water Gardens
We paid a visit to Bennett’s Water Garden in Weymouth. It was a clay pit in the 18th and 19th centuries before the pits flooded to create several large lakes. A business developed growing and selling water lilies. Most of them were imported from near Monet’s garden in Giveny in France. More recently the gardens have been opened to the public.
We spent most of the day here trying to capture dragonflies on the camera.
