INDIAN DAY 9
Although I have enjoyed my time with the family and sharing a bed with my 30 year old son for a week has been ok I was sooo happy to be checking into a hotel today.
#I’m staying at the Radisson Blu about 15 mins walk from the family house. Less than £40 bed and breakfast!! (for research purposes!!)
# my room is spacious with views towards the Arabian Sea
The Rev loves to be first on a plane…
#I think I broke a record to be in the spa within 20 mins of check in :)))) A wonderful Indian head, shoulder and foot massage (all for research!)
#a Caesar salad lunch. Although the food has been amazing it was nice to have salad.
#the monsoon rains arrived again during lunch!
I decided to buy a fancy cupcakes; now and latter (70p!) to have in my room with a cup of English breakfast tea and some piece and quiet.
# oh no! Within 5 mins these 2 lovelies arrived. Luckily they had delivered 2 cakes!! We had a swim in the rooftop pool accompanied by constant laughter!!
# In the evening we dined in the hotel restaurant…Chinese cuisine…delicious.
They left about 11pm…that peaceful day wasn’t so peaceful but it was perfect
