Netley Abbey parkrun

Off the ship with plenty of time for parkrun.  Southampton was cancelled,  so we ventured to Netley Abbey parkrun.  A hot day for it, I ran all the ups and walked the downs. A fair amount of shade, so not too bad, nevertheless a tough run after too much crooze food and booze as well as the heat.

A very long journey home (M25 hold-ups) with an average speed of 28mph ... glad of the air conditioning. I was spotted by several tourists as I stood out in my parkrun atire ... and a delightful Services Manager at Fleetwood Services. He started work at 6 am, popped to Fleetwood parkrun for his parkrun, returned to his work at the service station where he  showered and was able to chat to me.
