While I was in Rotterdam L texted me that ‘it is autumn’ in our garden. This is what she meant, our lime tree - in Dutch ‘linde’ - lost wheelbarrows of fruit, turning the grass and the terrace yellow. The result of the storm Monday morning. (L hates that tree ;) )
