Butterfly hunting

An early little wander as I wanted to see the Silver washed fritillary which had been seen at the local Downs - and I did see 3 of them but they didn't want to pose nicely today and were flying around high up, and I was too impatient to wait around in the heat lol!!  Lots of Ringlet butterflies about too so made do with snapping them instead!

Seen that the temperatures in other parts of Europe are currently in the high 40's.....  hurry up Autumn/Winter is all I can say!!  I love the sunshine but not the heat!
