Nohut and other Istanbulites

A smooth and easy journey to Istanbul, arrived at college around 14.00. An afternoon that included 'meet the parents' of the students I will be teaching, and of course, wandering the buildings meeting friends and colleagues that I haven't seen for a year.  

Nohut the cat, almost 17 years old, was at Alex's place ready to greet me when I arrived,  which she did in proper Nohut fashion, demanding to know where the cat food sachets were in my suitcase. So, after the parents meeting I walked to the corner shop to buy the basic emergency supplies one needs when living on school campus - Nescafe, a packet of pasta, 3 bottles of beer and 4 sachets of Felix (tuna flavour).

A very nice evening chatting with Melissa over a bottle of wine and a comparatively early night after a busy and tiring, but good, day.
