Another Day

Providing food

This morning I drove down to the mill to meet my friend who has dementia and Alzheimer’s.  She has found a lovely taxi driver she can ring who takes her wherever she wants to go.  Sometimes he’s not free but they work around it.  He’s a lovely, caring man and she’s in good hands.

I will have to get used to her becoming more unpredictable and embarrassing and work out how to handle it.  This morning someone on the next table had a plate full of waffles, strawberries and cream.  She looked at the recipient and said very loudly that it was absolutely huge.  Said person totally ignored her.

Back home and I’ve ordered a pair of sandals from Gabor.  I would have bought them in MK but as always they don’t have my size.

I am now engrossed in the tennis.

The extra is a western honey bee warming up on the window.
