I Witness

Allentown Art Museum ...

... Tiffany collection.

I had read a while ago that the Allentown Art Museum was having a Tiffany lamp exhibit.  The lamps were only going to be on display for a short time. So this afternoon we made the trip to Allentown to check it out.

They had several beautiful lamps on display ... two of which are part of my collage.  But the focal point of the exhibit were the stained glass Landscape Memorial windows that were recently purchased by the museum from a local church and restored.  These gorgeous windows are a permanent installation.  Please have a look full screen.

After viewing the Tiffany exhibit we wandered through the rest of the museum.  We have been here several times before but some of the exhibits change on a regular basis.  There was a nice exhibit of photographs from a local camera club that we also enjoyed.  And another photography exhibit which featured non-local photographers ... some of the photos dated back to the 60's.

We had a really lovely time at the museum ... followed by supper out.
