Juvenile Sparrow

When I went out to fill up the bird feeders this young sparrow was sitting on one of the perches .... not quite as fast as mum and dad but it did eventually fly up to the roof of the shed giving me a rather disdainful look.

It's really quite wet just now but this morning it was what we in Scotland call 'smir' .... gives you a very gentle soaking!
