we live in a micro climate 
it was meant to be HOT today
yet it turned out misty.

it was probably toasty a couple of miles inland.

have taken delivery of a 6' tree that will be planted to 
replace the one our newbie Radish hating neighbour took a chainsaw
to the other week (from our garden!). so trespass. criminal damage and  theft - because both times he's done this he as to remove the evidence - which, legally, he should offer to the owner of the trees.

i now have to buy a camera to keep an eye on the new tree - it's a black poplar - which are becoming increasingly rare in Dorset.  so we want to ensure that it doesn't get the same treatment as some of our other trees.

it will be placed well inside the boundary and replace the one that has been cut to bits.  our greenhouse was also damaged by the illegal cutting...the branches he took a dislike to fell upon it.  we have photos.  he's a caution.

in due course i may be sending him a bill for that.
considering asking him to pay for the camera - as this is his second offence that we know of.  he thinks he can roam around any garden and has even been up on our roof - some people are very strange.
