Box Tree Moth

While this is a very attractive moth I have just identified it as a box tree moth which we definitely don't want in the garden. It was on my car next to our box hedge. It seems that it was accidentally introduced into this country in 2007 and has spread from the south of England. Apparently it can disfigure the plants and in some cases completely defoliate them. Oh dear.
