So quiet

Yesterday afternoon we walked past a park with a replica of the a grotto at Lourdes and couldn’t go in as dogs not allowed. This morning we had an early walk and then left Hetty in the camper and popped back, we were only gone 15 minutes and left all the windows open so she was fine. Odd place but had to be seen. We moved onto a small town and lovely campsite only about thirty miles away as we want to do some walking and lots of paths around the canal. Only two other pitches occupied. Walked along the canal and into the village to checkout boulangerie for the morning, both closed but open at 6:00am. Found a tabac and decided to have coffee and Ricard, which was so cheap. Sat having dinner and looked up to see the Heron in the tree by the river, been there now for over an hour and seems to be asleep.
