Philadelphus

Normally when the Philadelphus is in flower the weather is good and we are able to sit out in the garden and smell the sweet smell of the flowers, this year it is blooming in a week of dull, cloudy and rainy weather. Today it’s been very dull and wet. Oddly when I went outside at 7pm it was very warm and humid, it has certainly heated up since I was outside early this afternoon. Hopefully the gloom will have lifted by tomorrow and we may see some sun. Fingers crossed.
