Greg drove myself and his daughter to Stanage Plantation area, we met Meg there and walked up to the crag. The Plantation area was chosen by Fi, but unfortunately she fell off the bouldering wall last night and injured her knee :-(

The wind was very strong and after Greg had led two routes, I didn't climb either of them as they looked horrid, we decided to drive back to Birchen Edge as it's more sheltered there. 

I may not have got much climbing in, only doing two, but I belayed several, including Meg's first VD lead, which gave her a shock as it was nothing like she thought. I really thought she was going to fall and was prepared, but great that she managed the thrutchy chimney without mishap. Well done to her!
