Thankfully not because of the dreaded load shedding, but just because it made it feel cozy.

We shortened our outing with the pooches to enable us to get to J’s earlier than normal in anticipation of a crowd. I think the cold weather scared them off.

Prawns and a prawn curry devoured, we got home to batten down the hatches as the wind blew and the temperature dropped.
