Up to catch trains to Portland. As the weather was hot the trains were packed, but managed to run roughly on time. I met Rosie and Matt at the station and we had a bit of a walk around Weymouth, and had lunch in the Lounge. Then caught the bus across to Portland. We had ice creams in The Hive cafe, then went to our apartment, which was lovely, right by Chesil Beach.
We had cheesy chips and battered samphire On the beach watching the sun go down.
