Old Mertoun House….

…..only the plumbers on site today. Their lead chappy has worked incredibly hard to get us back on track. They’ll be ‘done done’ by Monday. Spark is done too and the joiner will complete his scheduled work on Monday. Splendid. Still another couple of weeks of outside joinery to go but we can take back control of the inside. Phew!

Later, as the plasterer completed his part of the project, we buggered off to the Duke of Sutherland’s pile for a stroll round his gardens.
