Hapa Zome - flower pounding

Together with a friend I attended a great workshop at Cample Line. We were pounding flowers and leaves to leave beautiful marks of plant dye on white cotton. It was quite noisy at times with eight of us hammering away.  But we had time to chat, share stories and ideas about how to use our new skills.  And there was delicious rhubarb cake!
In the evening we went to Shambellie House for the preview of a photographic exhibition on rural life.  One of my photos is part of the exhibition  - see more tomorrow!
