Misjudged

It looked a little bit drizzly but not enough to bother with a waterproof and, of course, it wasn't until I got to the shop that it seemed a little bit heavier but not enough to bail out and take the short road home. By the time I got to the junction - probably the furthest point from home it had, naturally, got quite heavy and the windproof jacket was getting soaked.

With the smoker working it was time to get a big lump of pork in it to make sure it was working properly and all was going well enough until, about two hours in, the temperature started dropping. So it was out with the meat and into the oven. Turns out a little inline fuse in the smoker had blown. Just died. The smoker takes 4 amps. There's a 5 amp fuse in the plug and this thing is rated at 10 amps. If the smoker was drawing much more than 5 amps, the plug should have gone before the inline fuse so I'm guessing it's just rubbish. Not an easy thing to replace so I'll probably just leave the fuse out and rely on the plug.
