John the Gardener

As Nigel was going into town at a similar time to me he gave me a lift. I was going to volunteer at the Winchester Basics Bank and to get there I need to walk along the river. I popped into a supermarket and purchased a can of sweetcorn. As I walked along the river I fed the ducks with the corn. They were very appreciative.

There is a bridge over the river that goes to a private garden. I’ve blipped it before as there is a wisteria growing over it. Today I noticed this plaque on the door to the bridge. How really lovely.

This evening TakeNOTE have sung in Petersfield. We were raising money for the Rural Refugees. I’ll let them and you know how much we’ve raised when I’ve counted the retiring collection
