Shiny

Pilates first, then walked through Inverleith park to the West gate of the Botanics. The pond outside the building has several new big shiny balls; I notice that the gravel beside the building needs to be weeded ... 

Met the friend whom I hadn't seen for 25 years; we talked and walked through the gardens. He was testing the Plant Finder app, which he normally uses running on high fell. 

Afternoon walk out through the West end to Murrayfield; tea at the Rosebean cafe. Back by busy tram; the city winding up for the weekend. No actual rain, though it was windy and we carried jackets. Overcast all day, 22C.
