Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

I've been ....

Too busy to get this blip up on time and didn't take any pictures either so this was a very late night rush into the garden to take one .
School holidays have already started here so there were lots of families around when I was out today.
I lost several hours shopping in Aldi and Asda before lunch neither of which is a regular haunt. I was amused in Aldi to meet two members of our congregation, amused because it was 6 miles from home and we were both out of area.
Ali and the little girls came over this afternoon, Bonnie is growing up so quickly she's at that wonderful - confident but not very graceful, rushing everywhere stage often with arms up in the air. She moves so quickly you need eyes everywhere. She's always laughing and smiling too, just like her sister .
I spent the evening writing some bits and pieces up for church and somehow it was bedtime, I'm not sure I made the best use of Friday! As you can see the beans are coming along; the raspberries are now ripening so quickly it's hard to keep up with them; I had my first delicious strawberry - there won't be many I only have accidental runner volunteers and my CD bird scarer has worked so well that I'm going to have to strip the black currant bushes very soon - they are almost bent to the ground they are so full. The blueberries are still not blue .
... And that was Friday.
