2025 Friday — Shamel Park, Cambria

Every Friday afternoon we drive north 12+ miles to the community of Cambria so that I can attend my weekly piano lesson. Today was Lesson #7. I think I am making good progress, but I always feel like I play poorly at my lesson; I think that is because I am nervous and I’m not used to playing for another person, especially one who is watching very intently. At home on my beautiful piano, I play much better.

Today when my lesson was completed we drove into the center of the community just to do some lookey-louing. One place our pups love for us to stop at is Shamel Park. It is bordered by the shoreline and the pups love getting their paws into the sand.
