Ibis drinking from a fountain

It was fascinating to watch this ibis drinking. It seemed that more was falling out than going in but in the end I daresay it quenched its thirst. 

The location is outside the Art Gallery of NSW. I was there this morning to attend a lecture on Japanese architecture with The Other M in preparation for our upcoming trip. The lecture provided plenty of inspiration for how to spend three days in Tokyo at the start.
