Spirit of Tasmania …. a bit of a weird one
The "Spirit of Tasmania IV" is currently docked in Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland, because it's too large for its intended berth in Devonport, Tasmania. The new ferry was built in Finland but relocated to Scotland due to concerns about ice conditions in the Baltic Sea during the winter. Delays in constructing the necessary infrastructure in Devonport mean the ferry could remain in Leith for an extended period, potentially up to three years.
We were in Leith at the Vue cinema seeing the new ‘28 Years Later’ film, which was actually very good. Danny Boyle’s a good director, and the cast were excellent, including Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, Arran Taylor Johnson, and the amazing child actor, Alfie Williams, definitely a future star. Also worth pointing out that it’s not just about Zombies!
I hope you are enjoying Saturday.
