Montresor
We were told about this lovely village and visited it today. It was indeed worth going. Very quiet and very quaint.Narrow streets and cobblestone alleyways with a lot of info in both French and English on plaques throughout the village.
The residents have displays of ornaments, figures, and assorted other artwork in their gardens and on window frames, post boxes, and almost anywhere they could. The display in today’s photo particularly caught our eye.
After following a well signposted walk that meandered alongside the river, and giving fine views of the village, it’s church, and chateau we found a shaded courtyard cafe for our galettes and crepes.
I do hope that your day was equally as pleasant or even better x
