Crane
First job this morning was to pick up the bike from Douglas and we went early doors to make sure we didn't get caught up in the gala traffic. The weather was looking okay so after a good catch up with F in the bike shop, I rode home. It was such a joy to be back on the bike again that I did a loop round Coalburn before heading back. Really missed the bike after the puncture, the new tyre and now service. Feeling great to ride now though!
Lovely neighbours F and R have given us their old sofa as ours is a bit worse for wear and we have other things to spend money on right now. So the afternoon was spent moving our furniture around and bringing their sofa into the living room. It did prompt me to clean the skirting board in the living room which still had plaster on it. When I got close, I realised how bad the paint job is on it - one very thin coat with many embedded dog hairs and lots of lumpy bit. So that's something I need to put on the to do list for when I'm feeling sadistic.
Going to have a treat night tonight and head out for a curry.
Blip is the big crane hanging about on the Douglas road.
