Aesops Fables

We have a Fringe Festival here in Barnstaple for one week at the end of June.  Some of my swimming friends  belong to the local Pilton (a part of Barnstaple, not Glastonbury)  players and put on a series of mini Aesops fables.  A lot of work goes into these mini productions and they were very enjoyable.  Very gratefully the weather stayed dry. It was a bit muggy but that was bearable.
Here the tortoise is seen beating the hare which had taken a nap.  The moral of the story was then portrayed in case we did not know the tale!  A fair few folk were sitting watching which was brilliant.  They will be doing it again this evening and again tomorrow.... very dedicated.
Extra shows the cast at the end of the show accepting our thanks. They each had many parts so costumes were done mainly with masks.
