Kindness

I lost a dear friend in October. Today I met with her husband plus their daughter, who was visiting her Dad. It’s a long journey from Lincoln, particularly she has been quite ill and works full time and so her visits are infrequent. We met for coffee and she gave me these gorgeous flowers. She said she thinks of me as her surrogate Mum now. That was such a lovely thing to say. I was very moved.
