The young ones!

This morning, when going to walk our dogs, we saw a deer, four cranes and two hares. Not altogether of course!
I rather like this photo of the cranes as it is easy to tell the adults from the young ones.
In other news, I went to our local library this morning to take out a book, but about 80% of the books had been removed. I expressed my surprise to the librarian and she said it was a total shock to her when she came in this morning as no-one had told her! I suggested that perhaps someone had broken in and stolen all the books!!!
Or perhaps it is a fiendish ploy by the local council. “People aren’t borrowing books here any more so we had better close it!”
