Deaf As A Post
The highlight of today was cooking. A very rustic take on a dal. Very possibly the best thing cooked in the kitchen. The ground up spices (thank you Ms Mortar and Ms Pestle) really added some wonderful notes to the flavour. Served with flat bread it found an appreciative audience.
Ok it was cooking for the converted but it was really good. Always good to expand my repertoire of vegan dishes. If you have the Dishoom cookbook, try this.
